Asalamualaikum, good morning/evening to all readers out there.
As titled above, this post is about The Weapons of Satan.
We all know what Satans do.
They mislead us, deviate us from our true Path to God.
Satan is afraid of pure hearts.
To achieve excellence, we must know what not to do.
Start by identifying and monitoring devious ways.
According to Imam Ghazali, among the devil's weapons are as follows:
1. Anger
2. Lust
3. Greed and Envy
4. Satiation with Food
5. Love of Adornments and Properties
6. Over dependence on Humans
7. Recklessness and Impetuousness
8. Love for Money
9. Stinginess and Miserliness
10. Fanaticism to one's own sect and group
11. Thinking about substance, nature and the acts of God without necessary knowledge
12. Distrust and Suspicion of Other Muslim
Satan is afraid of pure hearts.
The Prophet once said,
"When Umar Al-Khattab walks on an alley, Satan chooses to walk another way, so that his path does not cross with Umar's"
Hadis above was narrated by Imam Bukhari and Muslim.
Satan was scared because taqwa shone brightly in the heart of Umar Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him.
When the heart shines,
God inspires it with various knowledge and guidance.
Among the inspirations that may be granted is the 'believer's intuition' or 'firasat Mukmin'.
For example, the firasat Mukmin was manifested by Caliph Umar Al-Khattab in Medina. While delivering his speech, he suddenly said,
"O Sariah, go to the hill, to the hill".
Although Umar was in Medina, he could see that the Muslim Army, led by Sariah, was losing the battle, while that battle, was fought far away from Medina. He straight away instructed Sariah to lead his army to a hill.
According to Sariah, he could clearly hear the voice of Umar, and immediately carried out the order and became victorious after that.
Truly, these inspirations are given by God only to those with pure heart.
What actually makes a pure heart? Walluhua'lam.
Only Allah knows best, but we can know something beneficial for us below.
How To Prevent The Spiritual Death of The Heart
According to Ibrahim bin Adham, there are eight things that one should refrain from doing:
1. Knowing obligations to God but does not fulfil it
2. Reading the Qoran but does not implement its commandments
3. Love the Prophet S.A.W, but ignores his Sunnah
4. Being afraid of death, but does not prepare for it
5. Knowing that Satan is enemy but follow his whispers
6. Being afraid of Hell, but continue to commit sins (without repenting)
7. Desiring Paradise, but does not perform good deeds
8. Forgetting one's own shortcomings, but highlight the shortcomings of others.
Taqwa; is fear of Allah and keeping one's duty to Him (God).
To succeed we need it. It helps the heart to shine continuously.
In the Holy Book of Qoran,
Chapter Al-Talaq verse 2 to 3,
"Whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him (taqwa), He will provide a way for him to get out from every difficulty. He will provide him sustenance from sources he never could imagine".
God is one. God is Allah.
Special message to the atheists and the agnostics,
Congratulations, you are halfway through the journey of having a worthy judgement on the way of thinking about the Universe's origin.
See, the Universe is deemed to have its own death someday, coming to its own ending. Every ending has a beginning, isn't it?
And there must be an origin point, the Reason of reasons, the cause, because, there is a Creator, commonly known as God...
Yes, it's true, you're right, ... There is no God ....
There is no God but Allah, and Prophet Muhammad S.A.W is His Messenger.
:)
Rejoice on the fact that we are embracing the true religion, so - let's be like giraffes to flowers;
Pollinating flowers with their muzzles and making more flowers grow. Causing both intentional and unintentional growth of flowers through the acts of finding food. (Still referring to the giraffes haha)
The flowers symbolize Islam.
Remember this quote from the Internet:
"If your Islam is not making you happy, something is wrong with your Islam."
And also this photo, also from the Internet:
Before I end this post, I would like to ask forgiveness from readers out there, regardless of the degree and type of mistake that I made to you while you read what I have typed.
Thank you very much for your time.
Sorry.
The bitter and hard truth is way better than the sweet and easy lie.
